5 Reasons Why You Can’t Miss the Echo Mountain Unbridal Show

Most wedding shows are built around rows of booths and a pile of flyers. That works for some, but we wanted to create an experience that feels like a real wedding reception.
On Saturday, May 9th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, we’re turning Echo Mountain into a jungle-safari-themed reception. There are no cramped aisles, no pressure to sign contracts, and no need to hide your engagement ring just to avoid being cornered by a salesperson.
If you’ve ever felt like you had to pretend your friend was the one getting married just to avoid a sales pitch, this is for you. Here is how to make the most of your four hours with us.
1. $150 of Value for $12
For less than the price of a fancy burrito, you’re walking away with over $150 in actual value. We’re not pulling that number out of thin air:
Future Mountain Fun ($50+ Value): Echo Mountain is giving every attendee a free lift ticket and a tubing ticket for the next snow season. You are essentially getting a free winter date night just for showing up in May.
Professional Consulting ($50 Value): You get a 1-on-1 session with a professional wedding planner. They aren't just there to push the vendors in the room; they have deep industry knowledge and can recommend the right pros for your specific needs, even if they aren't at the show. (First-come, first-served)
The Digital Resource Directory ($50 Value): After the show, you get an exclusive digital directory with every vendor’s contact info, plus actionable planning tips and checklists to help you navigate your next steps.
2. Experience the Talent (Not Just the Price Sheet)
We focus on trial over sales. We want you to see the work in action before you ever talk about a contract. Instead of just looking at a brochure, you’ll hear our DJ and roaming violinist performing throughout the evening. You get to feel the energy they bring to a room in real-time.
Our space also features curated decor. You aren't looking at a 10x10 booth; you’re walking through a fully realized reception. Plus, we’re running guided tours of Echo Mountain throughout the evening so you can see the lodge, the ceremony spots, and the reception areas while they are fully styled for our safari theme.
3. The Tasting Upgrade: $8 for a Curated Experience
Most bakeries charge at least $25 for a single private tasting. For an $8 upgrade, you get a curated, sit-down experience with our mobile mixologists and dessert pros. It’s the most cost-effective way to cross "find a baker" and "pick a signature cocktail" off your list in one night while enjoying the mountain views.
4. You Own Your Data (No Spam Included)
This is the biggest pain point of traditional expos: the inevitable wave of "Congratulations!" spam emails the next morning. We don't sell or give away your email address to our vendors. We believe you should only hear from the people you actually like.
To make it easy, we will send you a "Connect Card" template before the show. You can print these at home with your name, wedding date, and contact info already filled out. If you meet a vendor you love, just drop a card in their cup. If you don't? You walk away with your privacy intact and an empty inbox. (And don't worry. If you forget yours or bring a last-minute guest, we’ll have plenty of blanks at the door!)
5. Our Professional Standard: No High-Pressure Sales
We believe planning should be an exploration, not a sales floor. To ensure this, every professional at our show signs an agreement promising they will not use high-pressure sales tactics. We want them to be your advisors and creative partners for the day. You can ask questions and get honest, practical input without feeling like you’re being pressured to sign a contract on the spot.
Plan Your Wedding, Then Stay for the Sunset
We built this experience for couples who want to actually enjoy being engaged. It’s a Saturday evening designed to give you real answers in a space that feels like a celebration.
Make a full day of it! On your way up to Echo Mountain, grab a coffee at The Frothy Cup in Idaho Springs or stop for a pre-show slice at the legendary Beau Jo’s. If you want to grab a celebratory drink after the show, Westbound & Down Brewing is a local favorite just down the hill.
So, grab your partner (or the Moms), talk to a professional planner, and then find a spot to sit. We’ll have the music going, the drinks flowing, and a front-row seat to a mountain sunset that is unmatched in the Denver area. You will walk away with a much better sense of the specific vendors you can't go without on your wedding day.
Bonus: When you register, we’ll send you our Idaho Springs Day Trip Guide, and in honor of Mother’s day, a "Mom Manual" for a way to honor your moms during the planning process. After the show, you will also receive our exclusive Digital Resource Directory packed with vendor details and actionable tips.
